The bigger snake is a male Childrens Python (Maculosa variety). Its pretty much full grown at 4 feet long. The smaller is a female juvenile Murray Darling Carpet Python. This will grow to be 9-10 feet long. Enjoy.

Here's mine, a royal (ball) python. His name is Kaa, because I'm terribly original. That's me holding him.

Wicked snake man, love its markings. How long is it?

My Childrens python is called Roxanne cos it has a red light. Funny thing is we found out its a boy. Goddamn crossdresser! The carpet python is called Argentina just cos.

About three and half feet. I'm pretty sure he's fully grown, he's about six years old, but they're supposed to top out around four and half feet, so I guess he's a runt.

You're shitting me! thats a fat snake for only 3.5 feet. My Childrens is 4 foot & its girth is probably half of that, not to mention comparative head sizes. Is yours a freak or is that just how Royal Ball Pythons are built?

That's just how they are built. They're very chubby around the middle, and have very short thin tails and a noticeably slimmer neck. Quite different than the snakes I've owned in the past (rosy boas and rattlesnakes). It's all muscle though. I feed him live gerbils, and he can can strike and grab them from about two and half feet away, almost launching his entire body into the air.

Thats wicked. I'm trying to talk the missus into letting me get a third snake. I want to get my hands on a Green Tree Python. Cant see it happening but you never know, she got me the Murray Darling Carpet python so it could be on the cards.
